Needling
Micro-needling (or skin needling) helps provide firmer, smoother skin. Microneedles stimulate the growth of collagen and elastin and rejuvenate the skin. Skin tone improves, and it can also help reduce scarring, stretch marks, blackheads, open pores, fine lines, hyperpigmentation and more. Due to the speed of the device, treatments are fast, comfortable and able to target large or multiple areas at once. The treatment is suitable for all skin types.
How does micro-needling work?
Micro-needling is performed using a special micro-needling pen, a medical-grade, state-of-the-art tool used by a trained professional. The treatment typically takes about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas treated and the degree of treatment requested by the client.

What areas of the skin can be treated?
Using variable needle depth allows for us to maximise versatility, making it safe and effective to use on many parts of the body, including the face, neck and décolletage.

What can I expect during treatment?
A topical anaesthetic, numbing cream, is applied prior to treatment. During the treatment, clients report feeling a slight vibration.
Post-treatment healing time?
The total healing time depends on each individual. Most patients have some slight swelling and redness/pinkness (like a mild to moderate sunburn) for two to four days following the micro-needling procedure. Some people may see their skin return to normal in about 24 hours.

How many treatments are recommended?
The number of sessions required will be based on your individual procedure goals and the overall health of your skin. Most patients receive a series of 3 procedures spaced over approximately 4 weeks for each session. Some clients will need more than 3 sessions, depending on their individual skin needs, for example, to help with acne scars.

When will I see the results?
The natural repairing process of your own skin continues to progress through the course of several weeks. Skin damage that has occurred over an extensive period of time will not disappear immediately. You may not see the final result for 3 to 6 months following your final session. Individual results vary with individual skin conditions.
